LT (Light Truck) tires carry less weight at lower pressures than passenger car tires. You MUST raise the air pressure to maintain equivalent vehicle load support.

Tire Class Standard PSI Range Safety Note
P-Metric 30 - 35 PSI Standard passenger car rating comfort levels.
LT Load Range C 35 - 50 PSI Requires slightly higher inflation pressure.
LT Load Range D 50 - 65 PSI Required for heavier load-carrying capacities.
LT Load Range E 65 - 80 PSI Heavy duty. DO NOT under-inflate below equivalent load index.
